Mackenzie Stuart Executive Search & Selection is working in close partnership with a leading Subsea equipment manufacturing company. The organisation is one a growing equipment manufacturer with an international presence.

Due to succession planning, the organisation is seeking to recruit a Sales Manager - US & Canada - Gas Analytics & Custody Transfer - based in Houston - to manage sales activities for the North America market. This is a new position with the company and the candidate must match the exacting requirements for the position.

To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:

*A US Citizen, currently located in Houston or willing to relocate.
*Educated with an Engineering or business degree discipline
*10+ years' experience within Flow Measurement focussing on Gas Analytics, Custody Transfer & Process Control
*5+ years sales experience within the North America market with an established client basis
*Experience managing district sales teams in the US

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

*Manage and develop new sales opportunities in the North America & Canada market for the Flow Measurement product group
*Manage Tender & Commercial activities and work alongside inside sales and other departments within the business
*Develop regional and market specific sales strategies to identify areas for sales growth
*Manage a portfolio of key customers and accounts to develop long term relationships
*Work with the Director of Sales in developing monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets

We have a team of 8 consultants and 2 researchers that each focus on specialist sub sectors of Oil & Gas where they have built up an understanding of the structure of the sub sector alongside a broad network of contacts. This involves updates on sourcing candidates, short listing, arranging interviews with post interview feedback, advice on remuneration and managing the offer / acceptance / termination of previous employment and notice period. We find this close management and consultative advice ensures the client can secure the best candidate, whilst avoiding issues such as counter offers.
