Engineering proficiency in the design and deployment of oil & gas production optimization, measurement and automation system solutions. Process knowldege includes and not limited to, liquid and gas flow & measurement, pneumatic and hydraulic control systems, heat transfer & fluid dynamics. Relevant experience includes oil & gas upstream/midstream/downstream production, transportation, refining and distribution of petroleum products.
Responsible for designs, documents, installs and services of electrical and electronic control systems associated with well site or facility control, wired and wireless communications infrastructure and production monitoring systems.
Knowledge and experience with safety standards for installation of electrical and electronic systems in hazardous locations with explosive liquids and gases present is required.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Must effectively communication and coordination activities with various Weatherford groups, inlcuding sales, engineering, manufacturing, and regional management and service teams.

Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constrains of the job.
Domestic and international travel, up to 50%, in support of existing and future installations both onshore & offshore
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Oil & Gas production automation systems, including the safe installation and operation of these systems.
Interface and program proficiency with a variety of electronic field devices, including RTUs, PLCs, and Electronic Flow Meters.
Communication technologies and device protocols - Modbus, Modbus IP, OPC
Oil & Gas Flow and Measurement Technologies
Field Instrumentation and Signal Interfacing including: discrete, analog, digital and serial devices
Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA)
Installation and wiring practices for electrical and electronic systems installed in hazardous locations, specifically Class I, Division 1 and 2 and Class I, Zone 0, 1 and 2.
Proficiency with Personal Computers and applications including Microsoft Office Suite of products, P&ID software such as Microsoft Visio, AutoCAD, etc.
Experience in Oil & Gas production optimization, measurement and automation projects.
Experience in Oil & Gas Artificial Lift Systems
Experience in field installation and commissioning of systems, including instrumentation and signal interfacing with discrete, analog, digital and serial devices
The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.
Verbal and written communications skills in English.

Closed Loop Control
HART, Foundation Fieldbus
Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science.
3+ years work experience, with 2 years of experience with Artificial Lift technologies
