Overview / Responsibilities
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic person to join our acoustics, noise and vibration team in our Reading office.
The successful candidate will join our growing team and will be expected to help deliver existing projects focussing on environmental noise and vibration. You will work alongside our busy, friendly and supportive team who are based across the UK, and our other technical specialists including Air Quality and Environmental Management. We work in a wide range of areas, including high profile nationally significant infrastructure projects ranging from nuclear new build to aviation projects. We also work in sectors such as oil and gas, construction, industry and property.
Your role will be focused on supporting senior colleagues in project delivery. Your responsibilities will include site work, data analysis, computational modelling and reporting. You will be supported and guided by senior colleagues and provided with training. You will have excellent opportunities to progress and further your skills.
Skills / Qualifications
You will have:
- Degree qualification (or equivalent) in Acoustics or a relevant subject;
- Full driving licence
- Preferably an Associate membership of the Institute of Acoustics (IoA) as a minimum;
The Reading office has a gym and staff canteen as well as an active social club organising theatre trips, walking holidays and sporting events throughout the year.
