At this stage, we are particularly looking for an Accountant (Marine)
Location: KLCC Area, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Duration: Permanent staff position
Start date: ASAP
Working hours: regular hours, 5 days per week, Monday to Friday
At least 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting financial reporting.
At least 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting in financial reporting.
Good Microsoft Excel skills
Knowledge/experience in Hyperion will be a plus.
Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
Ability to multi task and meet aggressive reporting schedules
Enthusiastic and positive attitude to work as a team and with ability to work independently
Job Role & Responsibilities:
Review and perform all inter-company billings to book attributable gross profit and direct expenses and allocate shared expenses, as appropriate, to the various legal/accounting entities involved
Collection of data from operating department and perform cost recovery against respective projects and jobs.
Preparation monthly journals and analysis of related general ledger accounts and departmental reports to identify and investigate on significant variances.
Perform proper filing and housekeeping of supporting documents for audit trail
To coordinate between Procurement and Accounts Payables to identify the accruals to be made for monthly reporting.
To prepare cash forecast reporting for cash requirement by MAO Capex.
To support in functions such as interviewing operational division heads on headcount requirement and/or changes, review their budgeted operational cost against actual cost captured and discuss on necessary revision for forecast.
Commit in ensuring meeting of reporting deadlines.
ACCA I CIMA I CPA
Minimum a degree holder; and/or professional qualification or pursuing professional qualification (ACCA I CIMA I CPA) from internationally recognized accounting body/ institute.
