Overview / Responsibilities


Amec Foster Wheeler E&C Services, Inc. seeks a Project Controller to work in Tucker, GA, and be responsible for handling cost management and project scheduling with information derived from Engineering/Construction work packages, project technology implementation as well as the development and leadership of the scheduling capabilities and team members. Will also provide schedule and cost impacts from change orders as well as performance measurements and corrective action. 

Skills / Qualifications

Must have a bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Construction Management, Engineering, Building Science, or a related field plus five (5) years of post-baccalaureate and progressively responsible experience in a related position.


Experience must include: (i) Primavera P6 Administrative Super User Experience; (ii) utilizing scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera, MSP, etc.) and cost control tools; (iii) progress reporting; (iv) implementing project technology PMCS (Project Management & Controls Systems) tools; (v) Project Mobilization; (vi) Safety, Quality, KPI Reporting; (vii) industry best practices; and (viii) training.


Must also know (from any completed university-level coursework, seminars, workshops, or real-world, hands-on experience): (i) Project Management Institute PMI best practices (Project Management Book of Knowledge); (ii) task planning; (iii) basic engineering and construction related processes as well as industry practices; and (iv) P3/P6.


Must be able and willing to travel domestically and internationally to various unanticipated employer, client, and other locations up to 75%.
