This position is responsible for working in specified field offices within Crestwood Transportation and will effectively communicate with customers and Company personnel, coordinate specific transportation activities and assist with resolving transportation issues.
•Accurately monitor deliveries and ensure customer satisfaction, maintain accurate logs of all transportation equipment.
•Develop an in-depth understanding of the petroleum industry and the categories that we do business.
•Communicate regularly via phone, email and on-site with current customers to ensure continued satisfaction.
•Assist Sales by following up on potential leads for new business.
•Maintain communication and ensure employees have adequate information and resources to accomplish assigned tasks.
•Monitor costs and negotiate cost effective pricing with suppliers.
•As needed assist clients with product selection and pricing to improve transportation routes.
•Communicate with internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
•Safely organize and assign Transportation personnel for scheduled service work.
•Ensure personnel that are scheduled for service work in a customer's facility is prepped and trained.
•Follow weather patterns and be proactive in scheduling orders ahead and re-routing or stopping trucks.
•Assist Customer Advocates by ensuring drivers and equipment are being efficiently utilized with minimum delay time and cost effectiveness.
•Assist ESR by ensuring that quality assurance checks are completed and maintained in accordance with DOT regulations and Company standard.
•Administer and support safety to ensure a safe work place and to be in compliance with DOT regulations and multi-state laws.
•Work with billing to ensure service work completed is invoiced timely and accurately to customers.
•Effectively manage work assignments, and assist with monitoring performance and providing feedback of duties, policies and procedures to Transportation employees.
•Responsible for ensuring Customer Advocates and Transport Drivers are meeting committed delivery times and ensuring quality service.
•Document and maintain all customer requirements.
•Document and maintain all process standard work for customer service, order processing and scheduling.
•Will be available on an on-call basis for Drivers requiring service to equipment.
•Abide by Company policies and procedures.
•Other duties and special projects as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

•A college degree is required.
•Should have at least 7 years of specific work experience.
•Ability to perform mathematical calculations, such as percentages, ratios and proportions to practical solutions is required.
•Will have extensive knowledge of DOT regulations, federal and state standards.
•Should have experience with dispatch software (TMW, QUALCOM or QV21 preferred).
•Must be a detail oriented, self-starter and able to work with little supervision while maintaining goals/tasks.
•Must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately.
•Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends as needed.
•Some travel will be required.
•Should have good PC skills to include all MS Office products.
•Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with staff, management, customers and vendors.
•Must be able to work in an environment that is fast paced and pressured.
•Must possess sound reasoning skills and have the ability to follow directions.
