Wireless Instrumentation & Controls Engineer - Oil & Gas - Owner / Operator - Houston, Texas

My client, an established Owner / Operator within the Oil & Gas industry, are currently seeking a Wireless Instrumentation & Controls Engineer, to join them on a long term basis. We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years Wireless Instrumentation experience to work for our client within their Houston offices. This position will offer excellent pay and great long term benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead positions and engaged operational staff while commissioning, testing and operating large scale combined cycle power plants.
  • Understanding of DCS controls process logic with the ability to review and highlight recommendation that may require change would be a plus.
  • The understanding of process theory, and unit interface control logic of combined cycle power plants is required.
  • Will provide operational support and leadership to the operational staff, help train, troubleshoot DCS logic issues. This is an oversight role, that is also able to work in an environment with diverse skills and individuals. Job will include I&C oversight, troubleshooting, and process logic review and approval.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years Instrumentation & Controls experience, an absolute minimum of 2 years Wireless Instrumentation is required.
  • 2 years Wireless Instrumentation experience including design, construction and operation.
  • Minimum qualification of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Valid US Work Permit.
