Duties & Responsibilities

As part of a small team you will provide support across various different departments. Responsible for day to day office duties such as answering incoming telephone queries in a courteous and professional manner and ensuring the appropriate impression is given to all callers and visitors to the office alongside being responsible for the processing of invoices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answering telephone calls, dealing with enquiries and passing on messages
  • Meeting and greeting customers and visitors to the office
  • Inputting information onto the company systems
  • Supporting the sales team with administrative duties
  • Ordering and maintaining stationery and equipment
  • Sorting and distributing incoming post and organizing and sending outgoing post
  • Signing for deliveries
  • Day to day office duties including copying, scanning and filing
  • Arranging catering for meetings and providing visitors with refreshments
  • Purchase ledger - distribution of invoices for authorization and post to ledger (Sage)
  • Employee expense administration
  • Arranging travel and accommodation for staff members

Education and/or Experience:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
  • You will have reception and administrative experience gained in a similar role.

Computer Skills:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have complete knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PeopleSoft.
