Job Description





Sunoco Logistics Partners L.P. (NYSE: SXL) is a publicly traded master limited partnership formed in 2002 to acquire, own and operate a diverse mix of crude oil and refined products pipelines, and terminalling and storage facilities, as well as crude oil acquisition and marketing assets. Strategies for growth include increasing pipeline and terminal throughput, utilizing our crude oil distribution and marketing expertise to address regional crude oil supply and demand imbalances, and pursuing organic growth opportunities as well as strategic acquisitions that are synergistic with existing assets.









Primary Responsibilities








Directly supervises a permanent and intermittent workforce engaged in facility maintenance, construction and compliance activities. Initiates, plans, and completes various maintenance and construction projects and AFE's serves as Project Manager, and/or Construction Manager as required. Specifies, requisitions, obtains, and approves material and supply purchases. Maintains critical parts and spares inventory for the Philadelphia and Trenton Maintenance Area. Completes appropriate material transfers and balances book and physical inventory. Maintains maintenance and inspection records in accordance with both company and government regulatory guidelines. Prepares capital and expense budgets and manages the spending agenda after approvals have been obtained. Manages the hiring, counseling, and training of employees and administration of the applicable labor contract. Responds to both environmental and operational emergencies, assumes the role of on-scene director when necessary, and must deal responsibly and effectively with various government and regulatory officials when they present themselves at these facilities. Must interact with and represent the company in a respectable manner to landowners when required. Ensures compliance with Company safety policies and procedures.








Minimum Requirements








High School diploma, 5 plus years of industry experience. Must be computer literate (MS Word, Excel, etc). Qualified to oversee hot work, well developed communication skills strong organizational and interpersonal skill. Previous experience working in a union environment.
