Overview / Responsibilities

Amec Foster Wheeler is currently recruiting a Resourcer to work in our Gosforth office on a contract basis, for a period of 12 months. 


Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Leverage online recruiting resources and in-house systems to identify and recruit the very best candidates
  • Conduct CV mining on various job boards and professional networking sites to pro-actively source active and passive candidates 
  • Work in partnership with the Recruiter to source suitable candidates and build candidate pipelines for all current and future vacancies
  • Ensure that all vacancies are advertised as required
  • Respond and progress where appropriate to all advert respondents 
  • Shortlist CVs for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements 
  • Pre-screen candidates and present to Recruiter to further progress with Hiring Managers
  • Maintain accurate documentation to ensure a thorough audit trail via iCIMS 
  • Answer incoming calls in a professional and friendly manner 

Skills / Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a similar role is essential 
  • Experience of resourcing engineering candidates would be advantageous
  • Delivery focused and committed to achieving individual and team objectives 
  • Ability to prioritise workload and multi-task effectively
  • Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills 
  • Able to maintain confidentiality at all times 
  • Can work independently on own initiative and as part of a wider team
