The Supply Operations Analyst conducts all related supply chain performance analysis of hydrocarbon stocks, supply & freight costs, demurrage, and oil loss in connection with the operations activities within the Supply Envelope. The aim is to provide insights to drive continuous improvement in operational excellence.
1. Contribute to the Enterprise Added Value by supporting the Supply Ops team in achieving Operational  Excellence through:- Analyze and report on actual performance against plan / target
- Identify and implement opportunities for improvements
- Facilitate effective data, information management and knowledge sharing in supply
- Generates transparent leading performance indicators /KPI (Key Performance Indicator) measurements2. Work closely with Schedulers  to provide the analytical support for Thailand:- Lifting monitoring and consolidation to align with supply plan
- Freight costs analysis & optimization
- Cost Variance analysis3. Stocks management:- Tracks actual monthly stocks performance against plan i.e. stocks outs
- Coordinates stocks variance report & performance explanation & lessons learnt4. Freight Costs optimization and demurrage minimization- Analyze actual freight performance against plan through leading indicators e.g. unit ton-rate/ dead-freight/ demurrage/ vessels utilization
- Capture costs savings and optimization benefits against plan delivery target5. Ensures lessons learnt and improvement points are shared. Proactively engage and communicate to the supply teams for corrective actions and improvement opportunities
6. Focal point for T&R (Target & Result) planning, Envelope Supply Operations, Logistics Master Data. Ensures supply chain data integrity in the operational systems including GSAP, TSW (Trading Scheduling Workbench) and for CO (Channel Optimization) planning & optimization and Primary Distribution scheduling tool
7. Works with Finance team to correctly allocate product tariffs/freight/demurrage costs/ claims to the appropriate costs centers/Shell entities. Ensures data entry and payments are executed by responsible parties in a timely and efficient manner
8. Carries out performance analysis for shipping services e.g utilization of vessel, HSSE, loss gain etc. and also consolidate and analyze vessel performance for vessel recognition awards
9. Functions as TSW & Master data super user
10. Manages primary transport cost and tariff- Verify freight invoice
- Provide right tariff for primary transport to each depot and secondary transport including Shell Marine Product
- Ensure freight payment process in GSAP on time
- Monitor actual spending value against Purchase Order value and Outline Agreement
- Responsible for OA (Outline Agreement) and PO (Purchase Order) creation request11. Provide monthly throughput report, lifting report and administrative support to Supply Operations team
12. Process a tank registration for CSO (Compulsory Stock Obligations) storage with DOEB (Department of Energy Business)
  • Bachelor Degree or higher in Supply Chain Manager or related field
  • 4-5 year of working experience in Manufacturing, or Supply & Distribution or finance functions
  • ability to quickly understand key elements of supply chain and operations, scheduling and transportation, execution of contracts
  • Strong in analytical skills, attentive to details and able to summarise massive data to key information for performance management
  • Good computing skills and familiar with Excel, web base tools, power points, GSAP
  • Experience in negotiation, dealing with customers would be an advantage
