The Inventory Analyst role is a key supply chain interface with the maintenance planners to proactively manage materials availability.
Through understanding and prioritising materials availability issues, the incumbent will coordinate the actions of the broader supply chain and procurement teams to expedite supply and ensure availability of spares and materials for maintenance activities through continual follow up.
The outcome of this effort will directly impact the stability of the maintenance plan which enables delivery of production targets through maximum equipment availability.  You will be the single point of contact for Maintenance Planners for adhoc materials availability queries and as the Supply Chain delegate in integrated planning & scheduling meetings.  As well as engaging with the planners to understand and resolve projected materials availability issues you will have to identify & resolve misalignment between maintenance planning horizon and long lead time materials. Delays and stock replenishment will have to be proactively managed and you will need to be able to provide clear materials expediting priorities to the procurement team and maintain awareness of material status, vendor issues/delays.
This is a complex and challenging role that requires excellent attention to details to ensure materials are ready, in the right location, and available for usage as and when required.

To be successful in this role you will have the ability to communicate cross-functionally and across different levels in the business, with suppliers and remote location staff. You will have knowledge and skills in ordering and replenishing materials in ERP SAP/MAXIMO along with excellent computer skills, especially experience working with Excel Tool. (reports, lookup formulas).

We are looking for an assertive and motivated individual with a successful track record working as an Inventory Analyst within heavy industry, preferable oil and gas and CSG.  You should have previous experience working in a similar role.

This role is based on Curtis Island, ideally you should come from Gladstone or the surrounding area. Relocation and housing assistance will not be provided for this role.
