Successful candidate must be a self-starter with a proven track record of booking business in the Marcellus and Utica Shale Play, and must have existing relationships with active customers in the area. Candidate must be technically knowledgeable with the ability to sell on the value of wellhead systems (not price), and able to expand our brand while establishing local business.



  • For assigned region and/or customers, represents the company's products and services to existing and potential customers in a professionally and technically competent manner
  • Develop strong rapport with key customer representatives by providing excellent customer service and pro-actively resolving customer issues
  • Continually maintain a high level of cognizance and expertise with respect to company products, the competitive environment, customer requirements and the emerging trends of the oil and gas industry
  • Identify customer/industry requirements concerning new products and applications and communicate information to Sales and Operations management
  • Participate as required in establishing strategic direction related to sales and marketing focus, product development and/or customer specific strategies
  • In concert with Sales Manager, identify and manage target accounts, client activity and revenue forecasting
  • Consistently pursue communication with target account contacts, and present solutions as applicable, whether new product, remanufactured product or customer property
  • Ensure existing and new customer requirements are well understood and communicated with the Sales and Operations groups
  • Through contacts with Sales, Operations and Engineering, develop thorough understanding of product specifications and applications, create presentations, and present information to customers as required
  • As required, liaise with Sales, Operations and Engineering concerning unique product requirements, as well as potential product development opportunities



  • Strong technical knowledge of wellhead equipment and applications
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience in wellhead products and associated service and proven working knowledge of well completion processes
  • Mechanical aptitude; understand design and function of wellhead equipment
  • Strong presentation; interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Highly motivated and well organized
  • Related post-secondary education or equivalent combination of education and experience
