Under general supervision of the Terminal Operations Supervisor the Terminal Operator is responsible for operating all Terminal equipment in connection with receiving, storing, transferring, and loading of petroleum products. Gauges all storage tanks and takes meter readings for all products on a daily basis. Calculates and inputs all product inventories and meter readings into appropriate systems. Performs all daily and monthly reconciliation of product inventories and thru-puts. Calibrates and adjusts all additive systems as required. Takes product samples as required and performs required Quality Control tests and maintains Product Quality Log. Performs all daily, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual maintenance and compliance inspections, and maintains required logs as appropriate in a neat and professional manner. Duties will also include barge loading.
High School Graduate, or equivalent. Must be dependable and able work with little or no supervision. Must be able to operate all products testing equipment necessary to obtain accurate results. Must be proficient in mathematics and able to perform all required calculations with or without the use of a calculator. Must be proficient with computers. Must have a working knowledge of Windows Applications. Must have and maintain a valid drivers license for state of residence. Must be able to recognize color differences in product samples. Must be able to work out of doors in extreme weather and perform heavy physical labor in a safe manner. Must be able to climb heights in excess of 60 ft. Must successfully obtain TWIC credentials.
