Corrpro Companies, Inc. is looking for an experienced Senior Pipeline Integrity Engineer.

  • Plan and perform complex engineering duties supporting assigned projects
  • Review preliminary engineering data, identify/determine objectives and expectations of projects, and identify appropriate engineering methods and procedures
  • Prepare engineering designs, specifications, and reports
  • Plan and schedule activities for efficient utilization of resources
  • Assemble work crews and assign work based on complexities of tasks and individual capabilities
  • Provide technical supervision and technical assistance to other divisions within the corporation
  • Coordinate engineering aspects of design, specification and installation processes
  • Supervise and/or perform tests required to determine characteristics of soil and water, and to determine condition of underground or submerged structures
  • Direct the preparation of field drawings and determine design modifications required by unanticipated structural features
  • Supervise and participate in post installation/remediation surveys
  • Coordinate electrical interference testing and bonding with clients and affected companies
  • Ensure proper application of methods and procedures, including modifications as appropriate
  • Perform economic evaluations of alternative methods of corrosion protection
  • Produce cost estimations and detailed proposals for pipeline integrity related projects
  • Develop and implement technical training programs
  • Participate in industry organizations and committees
  • Produce technical papers and produce and present technical and sales presentations


  • Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Electrical, Chemical, Materials Engineering or other related engineering fields required
  • Registered Professional Engineer or Engineer In Training preferred
  • NACE CP Level II or III Certification required
  • Strong project management and problem solving skills required
  • Strong team and internal client service skills required
  • Strong external client service skills required
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as needed
  • Minimum of 7 to 10 years related professional experience to include:
    • External, internal and stress corrosion cracking corrosion assessments
    • External, internal and stress corrosion cracking direct assessment
    • Inline tool pipeline inspection information evaluations and repair programs
    • External Corrosion Direct Assessment surveys and survey data evaluation
    • Cathodic protection system tests and evaluations
    • Internal corrosion program monitoring, evaluations and mitigation methods (chemical & pigging)
    • Pipe condition evaluation and rehabilitation
    • Non-destructive testing experience
    • Pressure testing experience
    • Pipe repair techniques and systems
    • Coating condition evaluation and rehabilitation
    • DC and AC electrical interference testing, evaluation and mitigation designs
    • Risk and integrity assessments
    • Integrity information integration and data bases
    • Integrity management programs and procedures development
    • Regulatory audits of operator integrity management programs
    • Determining regulatory compliance requirements and monitoring compliance activities
