This is a SUBCONTRACT opportunity ONLY. You must have your own limited company in place or be willing to obtain one to provide services. Again, this is NOT a Full-time opportunity; this is a subcontractor opportunity only.

Job Summary:

Deliver Athens Group services at designated customer locations while interfacing with customer representatives in accordance with Athens Group Proven Practices SM Methods, Athens Group Quality Management System requirements, Athens Group policies and procedures, customers, policies and procedures, industry best practices and regional regulatory requirements as appropriate.

Job Description:

Establish self as Expert in the field of Drilling/ Subsea Engineering by:

a) Superior knowledge of BOP's and control systems and associated procedures.

b) Superior knowledge of all wellhead equipment and running tools.

c) Educated / trained in hydraulics and fluid system maintenance and repair

d) Demonstrated Understanding of Certification Societies/Enforcement- MODU, ABS, DNV, MMS, ISM, IMO, USCG, NTL.

e) Assist in continuing to build Athens Group's BOP delivery services.

f) Review surveyor reports from the field. Verify accuracy of statements and attachments. Perform gap analysis to ensure defects not overlooked. Ensure reports distributed as required, both to client and within Athens Group. Provide PE signature where required by customers and/or regulatory bodies.

g) Review drawings, plans, and other customer documents to develop workscope and assist in generating proposals.

h) Understand relevant regulatory requirements and their application to customer equipment and installation.

i) Establish Athens Group as a Texas registered engineering firm and maintain leadership status.

Provide valued, relevant and significant assessments, reviews, observations and recommendations by:

a) Understanding Athens Group's service offerings.

b) Establishing self as subject matter expert with customer and expert in designated technical discipline(s).

c) Earn customer trust through competent and efficient execution of defined scope.

d) Demonstrate ability to expend extra effort and time when necessary to meet commitments.

e) Deliver defined services using Proven Practices methods, templates and checklists

f) Adopt behaviors and posture to effectively achieve Athens Group and Customer common goals and objectives.

g) Earn customer trust through competent and efficient execution of defined scope

h) Understand customer decision making factors and process

Adhere to Athens Group, Customer and Regulator requirements, methods and processes to acheive maximum economic benefit for the customer and Athens Group by utilizing established and required methods and processes.

Work safely and ensure Athens Group's and the client's HSE Policies are adhered to.

Maintain situational awareness pertaining to new business opportunities by:

  1. Understanding the customer's business needs
  2. How they align with Athens Group services
  3. By working closely with project personnel and on site leadership to better serve the customer's ultimate goal of increased uptime from their mission critical installations.
