ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Volume Management:
o Manage volumes relating to crude oil shipments in multiple pipeline systems working with Pipeline Scheduling and Operations monthly
o Manage retroactive adjustments to prior tickets.
o Develop financial and government reports to meet the business requirements.
o Assist in the gathering and analyzing of measurement data collected to process system loss gains and trends.
- Revenue Management
o Generate and distribute shipper statements and invoices.
o Initiate business close for pipeline systems.
o Verify oracle entries generated by VMACS for the invoices.
o Reconcile outstanding shipper account receivable balances.
o Manage statements for Joint interest pipelines.
o Generate revenue and volume forecast projection and analyze against actual data.
o Quarterly FERC reporting for both revenue and statistical analysis.
o Explain and analyze trends from month to month with regards to revenue stream on assigned pipeline systems.
o Understand and apply the logic of pipeline tariff for analysis of appropriate monthly billing per shipper.
- Customer Management
o Pro-actively investigate and resolve ticket, volume and revenue problems during the month before close.
o Interact with customers to resolve issues and concerns.
o Develop and maintain good working relations with shippers, producers, and pipeline companies
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Team player and responsible individual who takes initiative/ownership in all areas of work.
- Knowledge of computers and programs such as Adobe, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Visio.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- Degree required
- 0-3 years energy accounting experience.
- Operations or Crude Oil Scheduling experience a plus.
