~AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Mechanical Engineer for immediate employment in a client facility located in Blaine, Washington. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.

Incumbent Responsibilities:

    Produce engineering documents and designs for various industry related facilities
    Plan and develop segments of engineering projects with unique or controversial problems that have an important effect on major organization programs, which involves exploration of subject area, definition of scope and selection of problems for investigation, and development of novel concepts and approaches
    Prepare specifications, data sheets, RFQs, and technical bid summaries for mechanical equipment and piping components such as pumps, separators, storage tanks, compressors, heat exchangers, fired heaters, flares, piping, valves, fittings, control valves, and safety valves
    Review vendor's drawing data and communicate detailed design issues effectively with suppliers, clients, and other engineering disciplines
    Track equipment through fabrication, installation, and start-up and provide support to field staff as required to support specific project requirements
    Assist in the development of scope, budget and schedule requirements
    Assist in the coordination between engineering disciplines, participating in project planning activities, and support cost and schedule updates

*Minimum Requirements
Minimum Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or appropriate engineering discipline from a 4 year accredited college or university
    Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience in the refining industry or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, skills, knowledge, abilities and experience
    Working knowledge of refining, gas processing, and/or petrochemical process plant operations

*Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Requirements:

    2 years of on site experience at a client refining facility
    FE (EIT) certification


Additional Information:

    Must obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
    Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test

    Relocation and per diem support are not available for this position
