Should be able to run power tongs at the beginning with the supervision of senior Technician or Crew Leader. Know how to use power units (6 Cylinder Diesel Power Unit spring start or electric battery start) and know how to run handling equipment (Elevator, Spider, Single JNT Elevator, Hand Slips, Stabbing Guide, Safety Clamp, Inflatable Thread protector, Fill - Up and Circulating Tool (Internal and External) and other TRS equipment when and where required. Should also have and basic maintenance on all above equipment's.

Education / Qualification:
o Qualifications in Mechanical or Electronic Applications or past experience in a similar operation i.e. rig operation or casing and tubing running activity
o Atleast 3+yrs. minimum proven field experience in rig floor.
o Mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of hydraulic and mechanical /electronic systems.
Administrative / Other Skills:
o Fluently speaking & reading English. Additional language is suitable skill.
o Fast learner, result oriented and independent with strong interpersonal skills.
o Ability to work both cooperatively and independently and set priorities in the context of operational impact.
o Good customer service skills are essential. Ability to work 24 hour on call schedule. Must be a team player, willingness to help.
o Ability to adapt positively to changes in policies, procedures and priorities, or work environments.
o Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft software.
