Position Summary To ensure the highest standard of payroll services are provided timely and accurately and assist with the company's accounts function. Duties & Responsibilities * End to end payroll processing. * Understanding and following payroll procedures and related forms. * Preparing templates for uploading into Peoplesoft. * Review time sheets, work charts, wage computation, and other information in order to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies. * Responsible for calculation of Payroll from Gross Pay to Net Pay with due regard to statutory and other deductions. * Keep informed about changes in tax and deduction laws that apply to the payroll process. * Process and issue employee paychecks and statements of earnings and deductions * Assisting with communication and processing of workers compensation claims * Complying with relevant legislation and regulations * Assisting with month-end processes such as the preparation and reconciliation of Payroll Tax, Pension, Insurance contributions. * Assisting with year-end processes such as annual payroll tax and payment summary reconciliations. * Compile statistical reports, statements, and summaries related to pay and benefits accounts, and submit them to appropriate departments. * Dealing with payroll queries from staff.
