Position Summary

The Sr. Creative Designer is an essential member of the Global Marketing & Communications Team and will be responsible for creating new and original designs from scratch based on company brand standards. They will use computer graphics software to produce sketches, designs and copy layouts. In addition to the production of graphics materials, the Designer is also expected to manage the production process and ensure the final output meets all brand standards and marketing objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create new and original designs from scratch for brands based on client specification, needs, and brand image.

  • Create and execute concepts, designs and/or coding and may guide production of complex and integrated visual/technical solutions, including three-dimensional and motion graphics.

  • Manage design and marketing projects from start to finish including stakeholder input, cooperative workflow with other marketing team members and approval before publishing.

  • Maintain and update all PowerPoint files including template design.

  • Present and communicate design objectives, concepts and executions to partners and stakeholders across the enterprise.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure all executions fulfill requirements.

  • Create design concepts and/or prototypes for use in usability testing.

  • Assist with printing and production of large quantities for distribution as well as large format printing.

  • Ensures compliance with design, brand, legal and/or accessibility standards/requirements, as required.

  • Generates creative solutions; Translates concepts and information into images; Uses feedback to modify designs; Applies design principles; Demonstrates attention to detail.


Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor Degree in Design, Marketing or related field and minimum of three (3) to five (5) years related work experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Skills

  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of design.

  • Strong understanding of print design principles, including layout, composition, color, typography, file preparation and final printing.

Computer Skills

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should be skilled in the usage of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Windows and Adobe Creative Suite (PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Professional-grade portfolio (online or PDF) with significant examples of current and past work that spans a broad range of projects.
