Position Summary The Sr. Benefits Analyst researches, analyzes, evaluates, designs, and administers company benefit plans and programs. Duties & Responsibilities * Provide analytical expertise to support the development, design, implementation and administration of the benefit programs, practices, and policies to meet the changing needs of the organization. * Serve as the point of contact on Plan related issues addressing claims, eligibility, compliance, and annual audit requirements. Plans include Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug, Life, Disability, FSA, COBRA and Retirement. * Review, analyze and process retirement plan reconciliations and audits using applicable laws, rules, and plan regulations. * Responsible for the global benefit plans including eligibility, status changes, open enrollment, and billing. Work closely with Global Mobility on transfers and repatriation. * Responsible for reporting requirements for the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and works with HR and HRIS to ensure that the information systems are properly capturing the required data. * Conduct annual enrollments for the active benefit plans, COBRA plan, and the Supplemental Executive Retirement Plan; prepare announcement materials, booklets, and other media for communicating new plans/changes to employees. * Train HR Business Partners on new plans and/or plan changes; conduct employee benefit meetings to ensure benefit programs are fully communicated and employees are properly informed. * Transmit vendor interfaces and work closely with HRIS for carrier interface set-up and maintenance. * Responsible for the Absence Management process. * Audit and reconcile benefit plans and benefit related invoices; process weekly discrepancy reports. * Prepare and execute benefit documentation, such as original and amended plan documents, administrative agreements and insurance policies. Ensures prompt and accurate compliance. * Participate in area and industry Benefits surveys. * Oversee plan 5500 filings. * Develop and lead U.S. wellness activities specifically tailored to the needs of the organization. * Develop and distribute communications and required notices to HR Business Partners and employees relating to the retirement plan, health and welfare plans, and wellness. * Ensure compliance of ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations and reporting requirements. * Evaluate and revise internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
