Position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial accounting, the adequacy of financial disclosures and the adequacy of accounting controls.

Position is responsible for drafting and review of the Company's monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and related disclosures. Lead efforts regarding technical accounting research, documentation and accounting for non-routine transactions and applications and implementation of new accounting standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

Review and approve financial entries and reconciliations.

Review all general Ledger account balances, monthly financial statements including the monthly trial balance, income and expenditure statements and balance sheet. Supervise the Cash section, review bank statements and all other balance sheet reconciliations.

Prepare and or review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and disclosures.

Research technical accounting matters and work with auditors to resolve complex accounting issues.

Establish, coordinate and administer internal controls over areas of responsibility including pension accounting, Stock based compensation, valuation of goodwill and intangible assets and the recoverability of long lived assets.

Be the accounting resource internally and externally to finance.

Promote a climate for professional excellence, high ethical conduct, and dedication to corporate objectives.

Co-ordination with the company's internal & external auditors in preparation and assisting the Financial Controller with the preparation of financial reports and statutory accounts for legal entities, tax compliance and filling in conjunction with company's tax advisors.

Education and/or Experience

Professional qualification: ACCA (UK), CIMA (UK), CPA (US), or similar.

Minimum of 5-7 years PQE, supervisor experience working in the finance department of an international company (preferably in the oil and gas service industry)

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public (in English language)

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have complete knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PeopleSoft
