Snubbing Jobs

Snubbing is a method of heavy well intervention that involves inserting tools or pipe into and out of wells with surface pressure. Snubbing in its most basic form involves forcing pipe or tools into the well with an array of wireline or rope through the blowout preventer or stripper head to overcome the lifting effect of the well pressure. Modern day snubbing is done with a hydraulic powered snubbing unit to more efficiently force the pipe into the well. When snubbing is done in this fashion, it is called hydraulic workover. Jobs in this field vary from snubbing unit operators to engineers to help with development of better and more efficient snubbing rigups.
