Valiant Spuds Viola North Well

Valiant Petroleum has spud the Viola North exploration well using the ENSCO 100 jackup. Drilling should take about 60 days to reach its targeted depth of 15,750 feet (4,801 meters). The prospect is a mapped three-way dip and fault controlled structural trap in the Fulmar sand formation, and is targeting an estimated resource range of 63 to 191 million barrels of oil equivalent.
