Harriet JV Spuds Simpson-8 Appraisal Well

Tap Oil reports that drilling operations have commenced on the Simpson-8 appraisal/development well in TL/1 offshore Australia. Currently, the Simpson-8 well has drilled to a depth of 1,244 meters measured depth and will continue to drill ahead to the planned total depth of 2,090 meters measured depth.
The Simpson-8 well is being drilled from the Simpson Bravo platform as a sidetrack from Simpson-1. The well is designed to appraise an additional drainage point for oil not accessed by current wells in the Simpson Field. The Simpson-8 well is expected to take 2 days to reach its prognosed total depth. If successful the well will be immediately brought onto production.
Harriet Joint Venture participants are Tap Oil as operator with 12.22295; Apache Energy with 68.5%; Kufpec Australia with 19.2771%.
