Tropical Storm Bonnie Approaches Southern Fl.

The National Weather Service said Tropical Storm Bonnie is approaching South Florida with maximum sustained winds of 40 miles per hour. It's moving to the west and northwest at 19 miles per hour.

The storm is expected to move over the southern Florida peninsula on Friday. It's forecast to approach the Gulf Coast late Saturday or early Sunday.
