NPD Grants Det norske Drilling Permit

The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate granted Det norske a drilling permit for wellbore 24/12-6 S in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea. The well will be drilled by the Songa Delta semisub. The area in Production License 341 consists of Block 24/12, as well as parts of Blocks 24/9 and 24/11. Det norske operates the license, holding a 30% interest; Bayerngas holds 10%; Marathon holds 12%; Spring holds 10%; Talisman holds 18%; and Wintershall holds the remaining 20%.
