Amphora have relocated their Hyderabad, India office to accommodate their ongoing organizational growth.
Amphora finished off 2009 with a record year in terms of revenue, margin and organizational growth. Such successful expansion within the company drove Amphora to relocate their development and support center in Hyderabad to a larger office in the city.
"We had quickly outgrown the capacity of our last office," noted Amphora-India President Davinder Virk. "We experienced unprecedented growth at our India location in 2009 and expect similar growth in 2010."
Last year, Amphora nearly doubled their India-based headcount with 82% growth. Current plans include expanding that headcount by another 30% in 2010. To support this growth, Amphora hired an in-house HR manager in India.
The Hyderabad office is the central design, development and testing arm of Amphora. It also hosts levels 1 & 2 support for both Asia and Europe. The Hyderabad office is also the central hub of Amphora's efforts to launch their next generation products — the first phase of which has recently gone live at an Amphora alpha partner site.
"Amphora-India is a critical element in our organization for achieving our vision as the leading Enterprise Trading and Risk Management provider in the hydrocarbon space," stated Amphora CEO, David Newton. "Growing our development capacity as well as support presence in the region is core to our plans for achieving this."
