Newpark Drilling Fluids appointed industry veteran John R. Beltz, to the position of Director of Marketing.
Beltz, who brings more than 35 years of marketing experience to Newpark Drilling Fluids, will be responsible for developing and overseeing the company's marketing and communications efforts. Reporting directly to Loyd Roberson, Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing, Beltz will also focus efforts to enhance Newpark Drilling Fluids' strategic worldwide branding and positioning activities.
"John's extensive experience as a marketing and communications specialist and professional business communicator in the oil and gas industry give him a unique understanding of our objectives and make him ideally suited to market and promote our technologies and services," said Bruce Smith, President of Newpark Drilling Fluids. "His insights will be integral to Newpark’s overall success as we continue to grow and expand globally."
Prior to joining Newpark Drilling Fluids, Beltz served as Vice President, Corporate Marketing Communications of Grant Prideco. He has also held managerial executive positions at Pierpont Communications, Bates Churchill Advertising, and FMC Energy Systems Group.
