OEG Offshore has officially re-opened one of its Aberdeen facilities following a £240,000 upgrade project.
The company – which specializes in the design, build and rental of cabins and units for the offshore oil and gas market – has refurbished its Kirkton premises on Pitmedden Road Industrial Estate in Dyce by creating an open-office structure and facilities including a document management station, a boardroom, meeting room, new IT infrastructure and a director-level office.
The newly upgraded premises will house OEG's operations group including project management, engineering and design teams, allowing the firm to streamline its services for customers and providing maximum efficiency.
Stuart Heggie, Group Operations Director, said, "OEG has a reputation for the highest standard of professionalism and expertise and it is important that our premises reiterate this image to our clients. We previously renovated our Cothal and Pitmedden facilities and the upgrade project at our Kirkton facility will ensure the same level of quality across the board.
"The project management, engineering and design teams previously worked in separate buildings so having them working together now under the one roof will provide a more integrated operational environment that will maximize teamwork and inter-department communication.
"Having a strong network of support is paramount to driving forward our international projects and our long-term plans for global expansion. The official opening of the refurbished Kirkton facility is another important step towards achieving our targets."
