Grenland Group Enters LOI for Subsea Installations

Grenland Group received a letter of intent from FMC Technologies at Kongsberg to deliver two integrated template structures and two manifolds for the Laggan-Tormore project. Construction is planned for August 2010, and the delivery of both systems is planned for February/March 2012. The Laggan and Tormore gas fields are located on Blocks 206/1a, 205/5a and 205/4b in waters measuring 1,969 feet (600 meters), roughly 87 miles (140 kilometers) northwest of the Shetland Islands. The partners of the Laggan-Tormore development are Total E&P UL Ltd (operator, 50%), Dong E&P UK Ltd (20%), Eni UKCS (20%), and Chevron North Sea (10%).
