NYMEX Crude, Natural Gas Prices Settle Higher

Shrugging off yesterday's loss on the New York Mercantile Exchange Wednesday, the price of light, sweet crude oil for June delivery posted a 78-cent gain to close in positive territory at $83.22 a barrel.

Also trading on the upside for today's session, NYMEX gasoline futures maintained a final price tag of $2.33 a gallon.

Natural gas spot prices at the Henry Hub for May 2010 burned brighter on the commodity exchange, ultimately rising to $4.27 per thousand cubic feet.
