NYMEX Crude, Natural Gas Extend Losses

Extending losses on the New York Mercantile Exchange Tuesday, the price of light, sweet crude oil for June delivery settled down to $82.44 a barrel, or more than $1.76 less than yesterday's final price tag.

Also trading lower in the oil complex, NYMEX gasoline futures under the May front-month contract posted a slight loss to $2.33 a gallon.

Natural gas spot prices at the Henry Hub for May 2010 delivery closed Tuesday's session on the downside at $4.22 per thousand cubic feet.
