Wood Group has been awarded a significant three-year extension to its existing contract, plus two optional years, by TOTAL E&P UK LTD. Under the terms of the contract Wood Group will continue to provide engineering design, procurement, construction and ancillary services to TOTAL's UKCS offshore assets, Alwyn, Dunbar, Elgin, Franklin, plus St Fergus, TOTAL's onshore site. The estimated potential value of the contract is up to £50 million per year.
TOTAL first awarded Wood Group the North Sea engineering & construction contract seven years ago. Following a comprehensive review the decision was taken by TOTAL to extend the existing contract with Wood Group Engineering (North Sea).

Wood Group Engineering (North Sea's) TOTAL contract currently employs 240 onshore in Aberdeen and Glasgow, plus offshore personnel.
