GlobaLogix announced the addition of Ron Brogdon, who will join the company as a business development manager. Brogdon will focus on enterprise production operations, applications and services for GlobaLogix.
"Ron Brogdon brings GlobaLogix an experienced perspective and skill set in production optimization and digital oilfield technologies, which will allow us to provide valuable services to a broader group of energy companies," said Jim Fererro, vice president of business development at GlobaLogix. "His expertise will ultimately help our clients move from a position where they are simply reacting to field incidents and equipment malfunctions, to one that is automated and implements proactive processes across their enterprises -- resulting in highly-optimized levels of standardization and maturity."
Prior to joining GlobaLogix, Brogdon served as a business analyst and co-architect at SunGard Consulting Services, an upstream consulting group. In this position, he led projects focused on compliance and upstream management solutions, as well as creating frameworks for production optimization and automation.
"I look forward to leveraging my knowledge for GlobaLogix' clients," said Brogdon. "I plan to use the opportunity to not only help our clients achieve their efficiency and optimization goals, but also to help GlobaLogix continue its growth and expansion."
Prior to SunGard, Brogdon served as the lead on various projects for BP, Valero, Halliburton and El Paso Corporation, providing business development and project management leadership in data management and quality, risk management, credit risk and forecasting. Before spending the last decade working in the energy industry, Brogdon built foundational expertise in the analytical software industry, providing analytics and business development for high-tech manufacturers for fifteen years.
