HB Rentals To Provide Shenzi Accommodations
Accommodations specialist, HB Rentals, a Superior Energy Services company, has agreed to provide a two-building accommodations package for the Shenzi tension leg platform (TLP) in the Gulf of Mexico.
The package will consist of two ABS- and USCG-compliant eight-man sleeper units with a .3 bar blast rating, which will be stacked to conserve deck space on the platform. HB Rentals' accommodations feature unique linkable corridors that also allow for side egresses from the building package.
"The linkable configuration and the high standard of safety features that these accommodations provide were essential for this project," said Vice President of Corporate Sales and Marketing, Glenn Aguilar.
HB Rentals will also provide entry platforms, stairways, a cage ladder, gas detection, lifting slings and power cords to accompany the buildings.
These units will be used for 24 months at an estimated value of $400,000.
HB Rentals is the global leader in onsite accommodations, operating from three major global hubs in Broussard, La.; Aberdeen, Scotland; and Singapore.
