Arsenal Energy reports that nine wells in the latest drilling program at the Kerrobert Viking Oil Sand Pool in southwest Saskatchewan, Canada have been put on production. Arsenal, which as a 37.5% interest in the oil wells, now has participated in the successful drilling of nineteen oil wells in a row during the past nine months at Kerrobert.
Arsenal intends to drill two exploratory test wells in southwestern Saskatchewan. Arsenal will operate one test well (25% net) and will participate in another test well (25% net). Both test wells will be drilled with the hope of encountering commercial quantities of natural gas. One of the test wells (25% net) is a result of a farmout from a company where in Arsenal can, with its partners, earn petroleum and natural gas interests in approximately 120 sections through continuous drilling obligations.
