Blue Mountain Energy said that the follow-up well to the discovery well at Dunvegan 11-14-80-4W6 which was drilled at 2-23-80-4W6 failed to encounter the Kiskatinaw sands and has been abandoned.
Blue Mountain is currently proceeding with pipeline and facilities construction to tie-in the 11-14 discovery well, which will be brought on-stream at 8 mmcf (5.4 mmcf net) of raw gas per day initially, with the capability of producing at much higher rates if considered appropriate. The well is expected to be on-stream December 1, 2003.
Blue Mountain has a 67.86% working interest in six contiguous sections of land in the Dunvegan prospect area located in the Peace River Arch area of Alberta, Canada.
