CFO Retires from RWE Dea after 30 Years

Lutz-Michael Liebau, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of RWE Dea, will be retiring on October 31, 2010 after 30 years with the company.

Dr. Johannes Karlisch has been appointed as his successor to the Executive Board of RWE Dea with effect from August 1, 2010. He will take over the function of CFO of the company from November 1, 2010. Johannes Karlisch has been responsible for Group Executive Management at RWE AG since the year 2000. Before joining the RWE Group, he held a number of management positions at STEAG, amongst others in finance.

Dr. Henning Rentz has been with the RWE Group since 1996 and will become the new Head of Group Executive Management. After holding a number of positions, including posts at RWE Energie and RWE Power, Henning Rentz has been responsible for the policy affairs portfolio in the Energy & Public Affairs department at RWE AG since October 2006.
