Tethys Says Hello to New Chief Operating Officer
Tethys Petroleum announced the appointment of Graham Wall as Chief Operating Officer ("COO") of the Tethys Petroleum Group of Companies effective today.
Mr. Wall, who has been promoted from his previous position as Vice President Technical, will head up a strengthened operations team which will be responsible for all operational activities including production, reservoir engineering and development, field planning, drilling and production operations, production geology and well testing.
Dr. David Robson, Chairman, President and CEO of Tethys Petroleum said, "We expect that 2010 will be an exciting and very busy year for Tethys Petroleum, and we anticipate a step up in operational activity in exploration, appraisal and development in all of our areas. Further strengthening of our operations team will help us meet our operational and production targets and add real value to the Company. As well as his comprehensive expertise Graham has shown real dedication and commitment to the Company and I wish him every success in his new position."
Mr. Wall holds a B.Sc.(Hons) degree in exploration and mining geology from the University of Wales, UK. He is a Fellow of the Geological Society (FGS), a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) and a member of the Petroleum Exploration Society of Great Britain (PESGB).
