2H Offshore Engineering Ltd, an Acteon company, has opened a new office in Aberdeen to provide improved support for clients based in the area.
2H has been serving Aberdeen through its London office for over 15 years. However, the new Aberdeen office will enable the company to provide a more direct and higher quality service to operators and contractors based in and around the city. The office will initially focus on drilling riser, completion riser, conductor, and wellhead assessments, but will also take on other types of engineering with support from 2H's London office. The Aberdeen office will be staffed through a mix of local recruitment and relocation of experienced employees from other 2H offices, ensuring the same quality of service as currently provided at other 2H locations.
Emily Eadington, Technical Manager of the new Aberdeen office, said, "I'm looking forward to living and working in Aberdeen and being able to visit clients regularly to discuss projects. To explain something face to face, where you can draw diagrams, and see the expressions on people's faces, is important to help strengthen our understanding of our clients needs, and improve our service."
The new office is in Tern Place House, a new building in the Bridge of Don area of the city, built to house Acteon companies. The location also offers an excellent opportunity for 2H to develop closer working relationships with companies across the Acteon group.
