Hardman Resources Finds Oil with Jingemia-2 Well

Hardman Resources said that its Jingemia-2 well in the North Perth Basin, Western Australia, has extended from 2,356 meters to 2,781 meters. The company said geology & hydrocarbon tests at the have shown that the top Dongara Sandstone (primary target) was intersected at 2,699 meters depth (2,457 vertical depth). Hydrocarbon shows were encountered over the top three meters of the reservoir section. A more detailed description of these hydrocarbon shows will be reported after wireline logs have been completed and evaluated.

The Jingemia-2 appraisal well is located within onshore exploration permit EP 413, to the north of the Woodada Gas Field and is approximately 300 kilometers north of Perth, Western Australia.

The Jingemia-2 appraisal well is being drilled from near the Jingemia-1 surface location as a deviated well and is planned to intersect the oil bearing reservoir at approximately 1 kilometer south east of the Jingemia-1 discovery well. The well was designed to intersect the edge of the Jingemia Oil Field and to assist in defining the oil/water contact of the field.

Hardman said that the well will provide further confidence in the field reserves and is expected to be completed as a water injection well to provide pressure support in the reservoir.
