Broughty Ferry based 2020 Business Insight has entered into a strategic global alliance with Petrofac Training Services that will see the company's internationally accredited open courses rolled out across the world.
For the first time, 2020 Business Insight's project management open course training program will be available in the UK, Americas, Middle-east, central Asia and Asia Pacific through Petrofac Training's global network.
2020 Business Insight believes the alliance will fast-track their international development and could lead to an additional £400,000 in sales per annum.
Founding director, Tony Marks, said, "We are already delivering training around the world but, with Petrofac's global promotion and network of training centers, we will be able to significantly increase our international delivery of open courses.
"We will continue to run customized courses for existing and new clients that give their project staff the skills and knowledge to deliver projects successfully, providing a tangible return on investment in training. These programs can be delivered in-house, ranging from short introductory courses to fully accredited and advanced development programs based on international-recognised competency frameworks and are supplemented by other services including competency assessment, project management maturity models, project management handbooks, templates and processes."
Peter Conner, service development director, Training Services, said, "By adding project management training to our portfolio, we are enabling our customers to enhance their performance through effective and efficient project management.
"We adopt a very flexible approach to our training services, tailoring them to meet customer needs. Through this alliance, we can now provide customized project management courses, ranging from short introductory courses to fully accredited and advanced development programmes based on internationally-recognised competency frameworks. These can be supplemented by other services including competency assessment, project management maturity models, project management handbooks, templates and processes."
The project management specialists recently announced they were on track to reach £1.7 million in the next 12 months with the creation of new business streams in the areas of management training and development.
2020 Business Insight provides training and development for project managers primarily in the oil and gas and construction sectors but increasingly in the public health arena.
The company is an accredited training provider of The Association for Project Management (APM) and a Global Registered Education Provider for Project Management Institute (PMI).
