SMT, the leader for geoscientific interpretation software, has opened its sales and support office in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, as the company continues to expand its international presence. The establishment of the Abu Dhabi office follows the opening of three new SMT's offices in the last 15 months including Moscow, Russia and Calgary, Canada.
Commenting on the announcement, Arshad Matin, President and CEO of SMT, said, "SMT's Abu Dhabi office is part of the company's ongoing effort to expand support for our clients on a global level and to provide local language assistance where possible to help customers
"SMT's strategic presence in the Middle East improves our ability to support our growing customer base in the region, including companies like Kuwait Energy Company," added Andrew Burr, Director for Middle East and South Asia of SMT.

Burr will lead the new SMT Abu Dhabi team and oversee all aspects of technical support and sales operations.
