Pritchard Capital Partners, LLC, announced the addition of a new investment banker and equity research analyst to its growing organization. The addition continues to strengthen the core of the company's expanding investment banking practice and initiates coverage of the oilfield engineering and construction sector.
Joining the team are Houston-based Brian Kerrigan, senior vice president, investment banking; and Jeff Spittel, research analyst.
"We have been assembling a strong investment banking team to complement our industry-leading sales and research capabilities," said Thomas Pritchard, managing partner and founder of Pritchard Capital.
Brian recently served as managing director at middle market lender CIT Group. He brings over 20 years of experience in the energy industry both on the lending and equity/sponsor sides, with an emphasis on upstream, midstream and the power sectors. He holds a BS in physics from The University of Texas and an MBA from Rice University.
Jeff will be responsible for oilfield engineering and construction equity research. He has over five years of experience covering engineering and construction companies as well as energy macroeconomics. Prior to joining Pritchard Capital, Jeff was a research analyst at Natixis Bleichroeder. He holds a BA in economics from Holy Cross and an MBA from Rice University.
The firm also announced today the addition of two new senior vice presidents to its institutional sales team, Tyler Davis and William "Bull" Flaherty.
"Tyler and Bill bring years of combined experience, leadership and client relationships that will continue to distinguish us in the marketplace," said Thomas Pritchard.
Tyler recently served as managing director of US institutional sales for Macquarie Capital USA following its acquisition of Tristone Capital in September 2009. He has over 30 years of experience in the industry and will be based in the New York City office. He holds degrees in both mathematics and geology from Bowdoin College.
Bill will be located in the Houston office. Prior to joining Pritchard Capital, he was a managing director at Natixis Bleichroeder specializing in energy research sales and has over 15 years of combined experience in institutional sales and trading at Fidelity Investments, Frost Securities and DA Davidson. He holds a bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas.
