Hydril Receives $37 Million Order From Santa Fe

Hydril Company announced it has received an order for four offshore drilling blowout prevention and control systems from the Sphere Supply, Inc. unit of Santa Fe International Corporation. Hydril will supply blowout preventer stacks and control systems for two high performance jackup and two deepwater semi-submersible drilling rigs with a total value of approximately $37 million. Deliveries of the systems will begin in the first quarter of 2002 and continue into late 2003.
