Stingray Geophysical has expanded its management team and geographical presence to support the commercial sale and manufacture of its reliable and cost-effective Fosar® seabed seismic sensing system.
Chris Cottam has joined Stingray as Vice-President, Global Sales and will be based in our newly opened office in Houston. Chris has over 30 years' industry experience, having held various operational, sales and senior management positions for Scott Pickford, Core Laboratories, ION Geophysical and Paradigm. He has successfully established global sales and business development organizations focused on meeting the needs of oil company customers and grown several businesses from start-up in the international arena. With a degree in Geology, Chris is a member of the EAGE, SEG and SEAPEX.
Appointed Supply Chain Director, Alan Knowlton is responsible for the development and management of Stingray's outsourced manufacturing and supply chain capability. A Chartered Engineer, Alan has held senior positions in multi-nationals such as Xerox and Umeco in the aerospace industry, where he has successfully taken new products from the development process and delivered to completion complex, full-scale, third-party electro-mechanical production projects. He will be working with our development and manufacturing partners to enhance Stingray's ability to deliver reliable, cost-effective PRM systems, with an initial focus on supporting the scale-up of manufacturing activities.
Expanding on the steps taken to facilitate Stingray's next phase of growth, Chief Executive Martin Bett, said, "Seismic PRM is Stingray's sole focus and our goal is to build a substantial business.
