Aberdeen-based integrity, inspection and corrosion specialist iicorr has appointed a new business manager to head up the company's integrity consultancy business unit.
The unit plays a major part in iicorr’s business in the UK and internationally, providing a range of services including management, engineering and operational support to the oil and gas, process, utilities and marine industry sectors.
New manager Terry Stebbings previously worked for Brinker Technology as a regional Business Manager, responsible for developing and commercialising Brinker's technologies within the Water Industry. Prior to that he led their Projects team delivering operational projects for the company in the Oil and Gas sector helping to grow the company through the implementation of new technologies for pipeline integrity management.
George Watson, managing director at iicorr, said, "We have continued to develop core skills and new technology for the integrity side of the business and it is important that we continue to build on this through the people we employ and having a strong team in place."

iicorr currently employs around 200 people, 100 of them in Aberdeen, with a further 100 at bases in Alresford, UK, Houston, Baku, Kuala Lumpur, Perth, Australia, and Benelux.
