The Peak Group will provide Shell International Exploration and Production B.V with its P1 and C1 software applications. P1 and C1 will form part of the SIEP BV Global Standard Software Portfolio and will be made available by SIEP BV for use by its E&P business affiliates worldwide for well planning and cost estimating.
C1 is the Peak Group's unique campaign modelling software application, while P1 is a project modelling software process. Both employ Monte-Carlo probabilistic estimation techniques to deliver a realistic representation of the spread of possible time/cost outcomes in well delivery.
The Peak Group managing Director Andrew Paterson said: "The Peak Group is delighted to have reached this agreement with SIEP BV for our innovative software products, P1 and C1.
"We have been using P1 and C1 as a vital element of our service provision in respect of probabilistic well management for a while now and we believe we have created the pre-eminent performance management tools for well engineers.
"We are utterly convinced by the improvements in performance that P1 and C1 can deliver and are looking forward to working with SIEP BV and its E&P business affiliates worldwide.
"The development of our international structure, through our offices in the key strategic locations of Houston, Jakarta and Perth, Australia, gives us the ability to service our clients on a worldwide basis in every timezone.
"The development of C1 and P1 were landmarks both in probabilistic planning and the development of a greater understanding of how to influence performance in the industry. Our agreement with SIEP BV is a significant landmark in the history of the Peak Group and we are in no doubt that it will enable us to further enhance the capabilities of our leading edge products.
